Grooming Policies & Information

Cancellation Policy

• We require 3 days’ notice(72 hours) for cancellations.
• Cancellations with less than 3 days’ notice (72 hours) or no-call/no-shows will be charged the full grooming fee.
• We understand emergencies happen, and we may extend a one-time courtesy forgiveness, but future late cancellations will be charged.

Appointments & Drop-Off

• Drop-off window: 8:30–9:00 a.m. (unless pre-arranged otherwise).
• At drop-off, Jonathan will either give you a pickup time or notify you by text once grooming is complete.
• Dogs may be around other dogs unless you request otherwise at scheduling and again at drop-off.

Late Arrivals

• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late are considered a missed appointment and the full fee applies.
• A one-time forgiveness may be offered at the groomer’s discretion, but on-time clients are always prioritized.

Late Pickups

• Dogs should be picked up within 45 minutes of notification.
• More than 45 minutes late will automatically incur a $100/hour fee, billed in full-hour increments, unless prior arrangements are made.
• If we close early and your dog has not been picked up, the same late fee applies.

Vaccination Requirements

We require proof of:

• Rabies
• Distemper/Parvo
• Bordetella

Vaccine records or updated vaccine records must be sent within 3 days prior to the appointment by email or text (paper copies are also accepted).

If proof is not received by then, your dog cannot be groomed on the day of the appointment. The full appointment fee will still apply, and rebooking will only be offered at the groomer’s discretion based on availability.

Age & Size Limits

• We are not accepting new clients with dogs over 10 years old, unless they’ve been groomed with us regularly in the past.
• We are not accepting new dogs over 70 lbs due to safety concerns.
• We do not groom cats.

These policies help keep everyone safe and comfortable.

Priority Scheduling & Memberships

• Year-round clients on a 4-week (or less) schedule and seasonal members get first priority.

Seasonal Memberships

• Limited to 20 spots.
• Guarantees a reserved schedule for seasonal clients.
• Non-members and non year-round clients may book no more than one month in advance, but availability is not guaranteed.

Cage-Free Environment

We keep things as cage-free as possible.
Dogs are only kenneled while drying with a cool-air dryer.

Pricing

Pricing is based on your dog’s size, coat type/condition, age, temperament, and haircut request.
Rates apply to dogs kept on a 4-week or less schedule.

Starting prices are for short-haired breeds.
Doodles, double coats, and high-maintenance coats will be quoted higher.

Bath & Tidy Services (Starting Prices):

•    01–10 lbs: $100
• 10.1–20 lbs: $110
• 20.1–30 lbs: $120
• 30.1–40 lbs: $130
• 40.1–50 lbs: $140
• 50.1-60 lbs: $150
• 60.1-70 lbs: $160

Full Haircut Services (Starting Prices):

•    01–10 lbs: $125
• 10.1–20 lbs: $135
• 20.1–30 lbs: $145
• 30.1–40 lbs: $155
• 40.1–50 lbs: $165
• 50.1-60 lbs: $175
• 60.1-70 lbs: $185

Rates are reviewed annually to reflect increases in supplies, utilities, and inflation.

Time Expectations

• Bathing: 2–4 hours
• Trims & haircuts: 3–6 hours

More time may be needed for: multiple dogs, elderly or nervous pets, thick coats, or heavily matted coats.

Please wait until you are notified for pickup. Arriving early excites your dog and makes grooming harder to finish safely. If you arrive early and the groom cannot be completed, the full service fee will still apply.

Dematting Policy

We do not attempt to brush out severe matting.
Severely matted dogs will be clipped short for their comfort and safety.
Additional charges may apply due to the extra time and care required.
